TESTOSTERONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY
TRT FOR MEN
Strength, vitality, vigor, drive – these are qualities that make men who they are. As time goes on, these can be lost. Health care, aimed at men, can help you take control and live your life the way you want. If you have been diagnosed with low testosterone (hypogonadism), we can help you. If you suspect that low testosterone levels might be playing a role in your health, we can help you get your levels checked. The most common symptoms associated with low testosterone are erectile dysfunction, a loss of libido, fatigue, midline weight gain, loss of exercise ability, and muscle loss. If any of these symptoms hit home, you should consider having your testosterone levels checked. Read more about getting your levels checked HERE.
TESTOSTERONE LEVELS CAN DECLINE
For some men, testosterone levels begin to decline once they hit their 30s. It is slow and subtle. Some men may not notice that a change is occurring in their body right away; but, will often present to their primary care provider a few years down the road with vague complaints of fatigue or weight gain. They might even notice that they have stopped waking up with morning erections.

TESTING FOR LOW TESTOSTERONE
CHECK YOUR LEVELS
Testosterone is known to be the primary male sex hormone – giving rise to many of the characteristics that make men who they are. Hormone levels are known to decline as men age. For some men, it happens sooner in life than others. For other men, there is an underlying medical condition that has led to low levels of testosterone. But men who have been treated with testosterone report a significant improvement in overall symptoms, energy levels, mood, sexual function and most importantly, the quality of their life and in their relationships.
Hypogonadism, or low testostosterone, can be diagnosed by lab tests. Blood is typically drawn in the morning on two separate occasions, 30 days apart. If a man is diagnosed with hypogonadism, he can then be treated with testosterone. Testosterone is most commonly administered in a topical application. Other methods include intramuscular injection or pellet implantation; but; the route of administration should be decided by having a discussion with your healthcare provider.
