About Mr. Lott
Zachary Lott, MSN, ARNP, AGACNP-BC, brings a high degree of education and a wealth of life experience to his interactions with patients at Nexus HealthSpan in Corona Del Mar and Lake Forest, California. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing and a Nurse Practitioner Master’s Certificate from California State University, Long Beach. He was awarded his undergraduate degree in nursing from California State University, Long Beach, graduating magna cum laude. Zachary is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care.
Zachary has a background in adult critical care and received his acute care training at the Keck Medical Center of USC and the MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. His critical care experience motivated him to find a treatment approach that would prevent his patients from becoming as sick as those he saw while working in the hospital critical care unit.
Zachary’s postgraduate education includes an informal fellowship in integrative medicine. He received heart attack, stroke, and diabetes prevention training from Brad Bale, MD, and Amy Doneen, DNP, and is now certified as a provider of the Bale-Doneen Method. He was trained in advanced bio-identical hormone replacement therapy by Neal Rouzier, MD, and holds a certification from the Academy of Preventative and Innovative Medicine. Zachary is proud to be a member of the American Heart Association Council on Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health and the National Lipid Association.
Through his approach to wellness, he individualizes treatment to each person under his care using specialized diagnostics, lifestyle management, genetic testing, and both allopathic and complementary medicine. Zachary believes in preventing and treating disease with an integrative, holistic approach to care, looking at how the sum of the parts affects the whole. He can offer patients insights on how their diet, exercise, sleep, and hormones affect their health and help them take steps to prevent disease and live with more assurance.
In addition to being a nurse practitioner, Zachary is a decorated Marine Corps veteran. While completing his service in the Fleet Marine Force with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for valor for his actions in combat in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In addition to numerous personal and unit awards, his military career included two overseas deployments and multiple specialized training courses. Never straying too far from his roots, Zachary does pro bono work for disabled military veterans to give back to the military community.
